One for the werewolves

We had a lovely bright full moon the other night and it was surrounded by some wonderfully lit clouds. I did attempt to capture just how interesting the clouds looked but failed. At least the moon turned out quite well.

Take a look at far-flung skies over at Skywatch Friday.

What a marvelous shot! I can see a hint of the clouds, but the moon itself is perfect!

Have a lovely weekend!

That's a very beautiful photos. Wonder if the moon will look like that after they crash a rocket into it in about 3.5 hours. I don't listen to the news, but that's what I hear around FB. Sounds rather silly to me. When I look through my lens I can see all the details of the moon, but they don't show up in the photo. I wish I could figure out how to capture the look.

Definitely a cool moon shot! Loved seeing all the dogs from the show below and the little man playing outside. :) Fall is definitely here and it is getting colder.

Remember that small blood sucking insect you found on Gypsy's head shortly after taking this photo?

Perhaps it was a Lunatick ? HO Ho ! X

I don't think you failed at all - this looks pretty atmospheric to me. You're lucky being able to see the full moon in all her glory. We have so much light pollution.
