That all changed today when she actually swam to retrieve a tennis ball and the fact that she kept going back in makes me think that she must have enjoyed the experience. We've had a spell of quite hot weather and the sea temperature must be higher than normal, this I can vouch for because, when I ventured in for a paddle, my feet didn't go numb within the expected two seconds! I even braved it as far as thigh level. The forecast is for much the same tomorrow so I'm actually thinking of having a swim myself! For those of you living in warmer climes, where blue skies and hot summer days can be relied upon, this may not seem a big deal, but believe me, swimming in the sea in Scotland is not for the faint hearted!

It is wonderful your dog gets to swim. We haven't taken ours yet. They are similar to look at.
Wilma loves swimming too! It is the moment she comes out of the sea, realises she needs to have a good shake that I run! I have had many a soaking on such occasions! lol!

Oh well done Jana! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the upturned ears when she shakes the water off her. Oh HOW precious. I believe you when you say the Scottish sea is cold... The water is so clear and clean but mind your toes on the stones if you do venture in. It's years since I swam in the sea and that was more than cold enough in the soft South . . . ;-}
Your photography and the action shots are outstanding. Jana is a beauty! I have a lab yet to go in the water so there is hope for him yet! :)
