Goose fat not required

Well, we did it. We swam in the sea and survived to tell the tale. It may not have been like the Mediterranean but it really wasn't that bad.

Jana came in for a swim a few times, I think she was worried that we were heading off out to sea, but she wasn't that keen on all the pebbles and rocks. We'll have to take her back to our sandy beach next time.

Louis was also with us and obviously thought we'd lost the plot, after all, who in their right minds would want to get wet?! From the water's edge he loudly encouraged us back out and, when this failed, he took it upon himself to go and guard our belongings. At least they were high and dry.

"Come on in, the water's lovely!"

Just splashing about (not in distress, even if it looks it!)

i saw your link on my friend Honey's Blog and wanted to say Herro!

looks like a very beautiful place to swim, but I'm with you Louis, I would prefer to stay on shore.

Unless its really really hot!

It's been quite a long time since I've been swimming in the ocean. I live right near the thing, so that's no excuse. Got to get down to the shore this summer!

Looks like all had a blast. Water in the one shot looks sooooo refreshing.

Thanks for visiting!!

I'm working on your medal Sue. Well done anyway you're a brave pair. I hope Louis didn't lay claim to your clothes in his usual style.

You are brave, i don't like going in above my knee... too many creepy things in the sea..lol

It must have been really nice though. :-)

The water DOES look lovely, to someone who's been stuck in the city all summer.

What a beautiful place for a swim! Mom would love to climb around on those rocks...I think I might be sitting on shore...still timid in the water.
Always amazing photos!!

Hugs and snaggle-tooth kisses,
Sierra Rose

Oh Louis - I have to agree with you...although I have to say, that water looks so beautiful!! But we are wimps (including my humans) and we definitely try to keep out of *cold* water!! :-)
