Hiding from the birds

We visited the hide in Roseisle forest today and there was plenty of bird activity on the feeders. There was no sign of a squirrel while we were sitting there but, as we went to leave the hide, one was sitting just outside the door! Maybe he was doing a spot of people watching.

Is Jana comparing notes with Bill Oddie on how to spot your bird?

The coal tit on the right just seems to be hanging in the air.

There are some impressive trees near the hide. You can just make out the nice bluey colour of the new growth.

Ex-trees.

I've been doing a spot of catching up. Your photography is as good as ever. Great shots of the birds. Mine always come out blurry when I try to zoom in...must get that tripod.Do you use one or are your hands very steady?
